Air Duct Cleaning in Etobicoke, Done Right the First Time

The Kingsway was laid out in the 1920s as a planned community with curved, tree-lined streets modelled on English garden suburbs, and a lot of its original Tudor and Georgian-style homes are still standing nearly a century later. Ductwork in homes this old has usually been modified more than once, so we check what we’re actually dealing with before starting.

Mimico grew up as a lakeside town with its own identity long before Etobicoke absorbed it, home to older workers’ cottages near the water, though much of the waterfront itself has since filled in with condo towers. Long Branch started as a lakeside summer cottage community in the early 1900s before many of those cottages were converted to year-round homes, giving it some of the oldest and smallest housing stock in Etobicoke. Older, smaller homes like these often have simpler but more worn ductwork that hasn’t been touched in decades.

Islington-City Centre West grew up around Islington Avenue, historically Etobicoke’s municipal centre, and now mixes older post-war homes with newer high-rise development near the subway line. We work on the low-rise homes in this mix, which means original 1950s ductwork is still common alongside more recent builds.

Humber Bay has been transformed over the last two decades from industrial waterfront land into a dense strip of newer condo towers along the Humber Bay Shores. We focus on the low-rise homes further from the water, mostly newer builds from the last couple of decades.
